The hardest part of change

is knowing where to start.

This is a good place.

I help people find their best selves.

Welcome!

If you've landed here, something brought you.

Maybe it's a life change you didn't choose like a job loss, a relationship that changed shape, or a loss you're still carrying. Maybe you worry. A lot. Or you’ve been feeling down for so long it’s hard to remember the last time you actually felt…good.

Or maybe it's harder to name than that. Maybe it’s like a pattern you keep repeating and want to change but don’t know how, or a low-grade sense that something is off but you can’t quite put your finger on what it is.  Maybe it’s a feeling that you're functioning fine on the outside but it feels like you’re quietly falling apart underneath.

I’ve been a therapist for 25 years. I work with motivated adults who want to make change in their lives. Some are professionals. Some are college students. Some are people in the middle of significant life changes and want some perspective navigating them.

I work with people who want to understand what's actually driving the patterns in their lives and actually change them, not just manage the symptoms long enough to get through the week.  Because there’s got to be more to life than just getting through the week. Right?

If that's you, you're in the right place.

After 25 years and thousands of people served, I’m still curious.

I’ve spent my entire career helping people find their best selves as they work through complicated, hard, and painful issues. A large part of that work is in just helping people find hope that they can make positive changes. I’ve taught advanced clinical practice at the graduate level. I’ve trained seasoned clinicians through courses, workshops, and direct supervision. And I’ve sat with people in some of the hardest moments of their lives.

My clinical focus is to be authentic, compassionate, curious and genuinely interested in helping people make positive change in their lives.

That’s what I bring to every session. And that’s what I’ll bring to our work together.

You just have to bring yourself.

Am I the right therapist for you?

I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation. There’s no pressure or commitment. Just a conversation to see if working together makes sense.

If you’re on the fence or unsure, I’d suggest looking around the site and watching some of the videos to get a better feel for who I am.

Looking for something beyond therapy?

Some people find me through therapy. Others find me on a stage. Maybe you found me in a workshop or training. However you found me, I'm glad you're here.

For over 25 years I've worked with organizations, agencies, and teams on the front lines of mental health. I’ve addressed mental health culture, prevention, working with risk, crisis response, leadership development, and what it really means to authentically show up for the people you serve.

I speak. I train. I consult. My goal is to bring energy and engagement to all my roles and audiences, whether they’re listening to a keynote or participating in a clinical workshop. It’s this kind of thoughtful engagement that creates space for people to think differently about themselves and the work they do.

If you're looking for a speaker or trainer who knows this material from the inside, and if you want your people to leave a room feeling that something shifted within them, let's talk.
